Radiation Oncology Certified Coder (ROCC®) by AMAC®

The ROCC® Program is offered exclusively by AMAC®, American Medical Accounting & Consulting, Inc.  The ROCC® designation indicates qualification for documenting, coding and billing all modalities in Radiation Oncology and understanding that methodologies of radiation delivery may vary according to the practice, facility and equipment. ROCC® members represent all types of billing - global, professional, and technical. ROCC® members represent all professionals involved in Radiation Oncology - from clinical to staff positions.

Non-Disclosure Agreement

You will be required to affirm that you have read and accept the terms of the ROCC®/AMAC® Non-Disclosure Agreement onscreen prior before beginning your exam. The agreement reads: “I will not disclose or provide to anyone orally, electronically, or in any other format, information about the content of this examination. I understand that all documents and examination questions are, and shall remain, the exclusive property of ROCC®/AMAC®.” If you do not accept these terms, you will not be allowed to take the exam.

Application Information

Prior to scheduling an examination appointment, you must have already:

  1. Registered with the ROCC®/AMAC® to take the exam. Contact ROCC®/AMAC® at https://store.amac-usa.com/SearchResults.asp to register.

Scheduling

ROCC®/AMAC® will notify the candidate after the registration has been processed of their eligibility status. When a candidate is approved to test, then s/he will be sent an authorization e-mail which will include your candidate ID. You will need to schedule your exam at least 72 hours in advance and, should you wish to cancel or reschedule, you must contact Pearson VUE no less than 72 hours in advance.
